Ink loving artist DBO has confirmed he is up for the challenge too! He was born a child of the M3, the road being the theme of his childhood and forming the border between his rural and urban upbringing a them which is still evident in his work today. The heavy ink fetish that defines DBO’s art was until recently a necessary cure for bouts of unemployment, depression and torment. Salvation was to be found in the inky flowing lines that characterise his work. For DBO art is about the journey, the adventure and the freedom, it’s escapism in its least detrimental form.His work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally and recent commissions have seen DBO undertake work for the Royal Albert Hall, The Zepplin Shelter in London’s Aldgate as well as recently releasing a range of clothing and skate decks for Route One.
